Gospel
Each of us desires for things to be set straight. We look around us and see suffering
and death and know something isn’t quite right. None of us recognizes truth or beauty,
worships the true god, lives in peaceful community, pursues God’s cause, or extends
mercy to others as we should. We are fallen, sinful creatures all. God is at work,
returning our world to “the way things ought to be” through his Son, Jesus Christ.
That Jesus lived a perfect life, died a cruel death, and rose from the grave to
destroy sin once and for all. He dealt the death-blow on the cross. Now the kingdom
of God is slowly restoring all things. One day He will return to set all things
right. We all long for good news, or gospel. This is our message.
